The same roof, the same areas, the same work. A quote for patching one slope doesn't compare with stripping the whole roof.
Same materials and specification
Like for like: natural slate against natural slate, a named tile against the same tile, the same underlay, battens, insulation and fixings.
Same timescale
A quote for work in the same season. A price for a quiet January doesn't compare with a July start.
Same extras
